Hi Bill I am the secretary for the newly formed Wellington Rotary satellite Club and although a long standing rotarian have never set up systems etc for a new club. Bill we are a little confused as to the rules regarding use of the logo and a graphic we have had designed. I have followed the on line logo creator for the traditional logo and that was easy but we also have another graphic we would like to use. We are a small club “that does things differently”: caused based – our theme is Literacy for Life (and the word Literacy is all encompassing to include any form of learning – financial, traditions reading/writing, how to make the most of produce each season, how to make the most of job applications etc……). We are based in the lower North Island but our members are in different towns (mainly south Wairarapa – I am in Wellington) and we meet generally through a remote link. We are getting a website set up as a sub page of under the Wellington Club site and at this stage are looking to have a pull up banner and some business cards made. My question is can we use the graphic in isolation of the traditional logo – or is it OK to use the graphic on the same medium(but not adjoining) the traditional logo. I can’t attach the graphic – but can send it to you – I suspect we may need to remove the “rotary wheel”? We would really appreciate your help thank you Helen Dobson
