I’m the President at Bega, Far South NSW.
I’m after some advice on a pilot program we are assessing to provide one of our members to assist a local NFP, operating in the NDIS space.
Our member will: 1. Record minutes of Board meetings at bimonthly meetings for 12 months and share relevant knowledge and skills with the person nominated by NFP to assume the role at the completion of the project.
2. Work with a NFP staff member to identify grant funding opportunities for up to two projects and provide advice and assistance with associated administration, including the preparation of funding applications and acquittal reports.
3. Provide governance-related advice to the Company Secretary when requested for up to 4 hours per month.
One of our Board members is very concerned about this proposal.

Relevant expertise and skills
· Executive level management
· Strategic and operational business planning including finance and risk
management
· Negotiation, advocacy, and stakeholder relations
· Project management including oversight of consultants and contractors
· Infrastructure planning and coordination
Qualifications
Master Degree in Management (University of Wollongong)
Master Degree in Town and Country Planning (University of Sydney)
Bachelor of Surveying (Hons) (University of NSW)

· Commercial Mediator, (NSW Law Society Accredited Course)
· Fellow, Australian Institute of Company Directors (FAICD)
